Despite launching new phones a week ago, Nokia has no plans to
abandon its existing customer base. In fact, the Finnish company will be
releasing additional software updates for all of its Windows Phone
devices, including Lumia 610, Lumia 710, Lumia 800 and Lumia 900. While
they won’t get the latest version of Microsoft’s mobile platform, they
will receive cool stuff, including new Start screen that looks like the
one Windows Phone 8 has, ringtone maker app, ability to share contacts
over Bluetooth (in addition to SMS and email) and the ability to do the
same with files (Bluetooth file transfer). Moreover, at its blog post,
Nokia also talks about Cinemagraph and updates to Smart Group Shot with
some additional surprises to make photo shooting and sharing as easy as
possible.
We like how it sounds and even more love the fact that those of you
with current Lumia models won’t be left behind. Way to go Nokia.
